How does Asher Bradley compare and contrast to Marco Polo?...

To compare...

Asher Bradley likes travel and discovering new places, objects and things, as Marco Polo did.  Bradley belongs to a family that thoroughly enjoys travel, especially road trips that go "off the beaten path."  Not having a travel itinerary is exciting and of.ten quite rewarding.  The sense of exploration is innate for him, in that his entire life he has been described as curious.  Both, the Bradley and Polo families were entrepeneurs.

To contrast...

Marco Polo had limited options in technology and even proffessions in 1271, as compared to the optioins that lay before Asher Bradley in 2017.  Polo was older and his family's business was in trade.  Where as, Bradley is considerably younger and his family, although in marketing, does not enjoy the exact same business.

Asher Bradley's options for travel are much safer, healthier and a more efficient way of getting from point A to point B.  As opposed to Polo's way of travel, which was treacherous, unsanitary, unknown and "untravelled."

Too cool...

If I could journey back in time and travel, working with Marco Polo, it would be scary and yet exciting.  The fear lies within the unsanitary and unhealthy environment that people lived in.  Having medical assistance virtually unavailable would be something difficult to get used to.  Yet, relying more on natural remedies and know-how would be a unique and learned experience.

It would be exciting to be a part of the discovery of new trade routes, and seeing things such as, paper money, the use of coal and the introduction of glasses to Europe, would be thrilling.  Mastering the use of pieces like the Astrolabe, (which marked the latitude of a ship's current position), would be an enlightening experience and would change me forever.
